I love sharing  stories of how my songs came to be. I hope this inspires people to write their own songs, stories or even thoughts in a journal. Writing is beautiful because there really is no right or wrong and it’s incredibly therapeutic and healing to express what’s locked up inside. Some of my songs are playful and superficial while others are so deep and personal that they’re often difficult to sing without triggering an intense emotional reaction within me. Some people hear words while others hear beats. I hear melodies. My approach to songwriting always starts with a powerful emotion. This emotion inspires a chord progression that reflects how I feel at the moment. When the chords I play capture what I feel, the melody simply arrives. A similar process repeats itself with the lyrics. For me, lyrics naturally evolve from the melody. Many times I can’t write them down fast enough…

My music is best described as a beachy blend that often oscillates between soft rock, reggae, and a danceable ska-like beat.

Although most of my songs have yet to be released, I’m usually playing my heart out for fun on the beach or on a cliff somewhere in beautiful Bali, Indonesia overlooking the majestic Indian Ocean.
